Technology Safety Summit 2023

WESNET ‘s 5th Technology Safety Summit was held in Naarm on 16-17 October 2023.

Technology Safety Summit 2022

WESNET ‘s 4th Technology Safety Summit was held virtually on 20, 21 & 29 September 2022.

The first virtual Tech Summit 2022 brought together sector and corporate leaders working with or supporting victim-survivors of technology-facilitated abuse in their use of technology and their journeys in finding ways to harness technology to improve services with a domestic and family violence lens. The program is available here.

Keynote speakers included: Nicole Lee, Survivor Advocate; Professor Bronwyn Carlson, Director of the Centre for Global Indigenous Futures; Joanna Knox, Telstra; and Erica Olsen, NNEDV (USA).

Technology Safety Summit 2018

WESNET ‘s 3rd Annual Technology Safety Summit was held on 6-7 September 2018, at the RACV Royal Pines, Gold Coast, Queensland.

A highly successful event, it brought together national and international experts on technology safety and violence against women.  The program is available here.

Technology Safety Summit 2017

WESNET ‘s 2nd Annual Technology Safety Summit was held on 26-27 October 2017, at the Jasper Hotel, Melbourne, Victoria.

A highly successful event, it brought together national and international experts on technology safety and violence against women.  The program is available here.

Technology Safety Summit 2016

WESNET ‘s Inaugural Technology Safety Summit was held on 21 November 2016, at the Telstra CIC in Sydney.

The first of its kind in Australia this event brought Australian and international experts on technology safety and violence against women together for the first time.  The program is available here.
