Tinder has launched a new initiative in Australia aimed at educating users about dating safety. Their national verification drive encourages users to enhance safety and build trust in online dating by becoming a Verified QT. According to Tinder, verifying your profile not only increases your chances of getting more matches but also contributes to a safer and more enjoyable dating experience for everyone.

This initiative is in collaboration with Wesnet. Karen Bentley, the CEO of Wesnet, stated, “Everyone has a right to feel safe online and in their relationships. It’s great to see Tinder focusing not only on trust and safety but also on promoting healthy and respectful relationships while supporting the critical work we do at Wesnet. Verification helps ensure that potential matches are real and deters those who may misuse technology.”

Additionally, for each newly verified account, Tinder will donate up to $20,000 to Wesnet.
